Steelheadz Chris-What is the hardest thing to pick up about playing the CB position in the Steeler Defense?
Ike- The rules of the defense.

Steelheadz Chris-Who has been the toughest WR to cover so far this offseason?
Ike- Everybody's pretty good.  Every NFL receiver brings something good to the table.

Steelheadz Chris-With the pick up of McFadden, what do you feel your role in the Steeler defense will be this
year?
Ike- Time will tell.  It is too early.  We'll have to let it all play out.

Steelheadz Chris-Do you guys get a rush in seeing the thousands of fans wearing "Black and Gold" at oposing
stadiums and do you talk about this off the field?
Ike- No question, we talk about it all the time.  There are no other fans like Pittsburgh Fans!

Steelheadz Chris-How tough was it to transition from a small school program to the NFL?
Ike- I don't really believe in the small school vs. the large school hype, but learning the rules of the defense is the
toughest, but I've been playing football since I was small.

Steelheadz Chris-Which receiver from the AFCNorth do you think will give you the most problems this season?
Ike- The whole Cinncy receiving core is tough.  I like Chad Johnson.

Steelheadz Chris-Describe what Troy Polamalu brings to the table and how he helps out that secondary.
Ike- Great instincts and he has a great feel for the game and is a very explosive player.

Steelheadz Chris-Which is more difficult, the jump from High School Ball to College ball or College ball to the NFL?
Ike- They are both big transitions but the transition to the NFL is more business like. You are playing on a bigger stage.

Steelheadz Chris-How hard has it been to learn the CB position in Dick LeBeau's defense and is CB the mostdifficult position
to pick up in his scheme?
Ike- Yes, secondary is the most difficult to pick up. There are certain rules and you need to be able to read and react fast.
The average play in the NFL is 4-5 seconds and you might have to react to 3 plays at once.  We are the last line of defense.

Steelheadz Chris-Tell us about what it was like last season riding a 15-1 wave with a rookie QB,to only
have it ripped from you in the end(the Black and Gold nation felt the pain right with you guys). What are the
players mindset as they enter into camps this season?what do they think their realistic chances are
at getting to Detroit?
Ike- We thought it was a great accomplishment.  We'd  rather be 10-6 and win the Superbowl but you can't forget that experience.
It was a great experience.  The player's mindsets are the same as last year.  Weplay one game at a time and take the same approach as last year.
We have a pretty good chance to get to Detroit - we have the same team and the sameplayers.

Steelheadz Chris-On behalf of the Steelheadz of Virginia i would like to sincerly thank you for your time and wish you well on this upcoming season,
GO STEELERS!!!! IF YOU DONT BLEED BLACK AND GOLD YOU
MIGHT AS WELL BE DEAD!!!!!
