Crossroad Voodoo is a blues based band with a bit of an edge.They are currently in their 3rd incarnation.Over the years the band has several lineup changes.The original band members all hailed from Richmond,Virgina however the first incarnation of the band was formed in Atlanta,Georgia 1995.Guitarist Jason "Fat Daddy"Lindner along with bass player Chris Lavendier were the genesis of the band.That lineup changed in 1996 and saw Abraham Farr taking over the guitar duties and Dale Taylor playing the drums.Lavendier and Farr were the creative force behind the band and with this lineup wrote and perfomed the songs FOOLS GOLD,PEACHTREE GIRL,MISS VIRGINIA and JOHNNY RAYS BLUES.1998 brought about the 2nd incarnation of the band.The band refined their sound with the addition of VCU jazz major Sean Liverman and Todd Green taking over on drums.Lavendier and Farr continued to write new material with the new lineup including FOOLISH DREAM,RUN-N-HIDE,SUNRISE MATINEE and DIESEL.The 1998 recording was helped along by a multitude of talented musicians especially by the incredible vocals of Cathy Elder who was highlighted on Sunrise Matinee.The band soon disbanded in 2000. In the summer of 2009 original drummer Dale Taylor and bass player Chris Lavendier reunited to start playing some good old fashioned Rock-n-Roll again.They added well seasoned blues guitarist Mike Schvenski to usher in a new era of Crossroad Voodoo rock n roll.The band is currently playing originals from the past as well as an assortment of cover songs ranging from Lenny Kravitz and the Beatles to blues masters Stevie Ray Vaughan and Robin Trower.Together  Crossroad Voodoo is ready to give Richmond what its been craving,some hard driving blues and Rock n Roll.Get ready Richmond,were gonna go on ride!!!!!!!!!
